Impressive pair antique superbly carved solid wood life size Venetian blackamoor figures in the nude, in the manner of Andrea Brustolon. Each holding twisted leaf cornucopias and standing on an ogee square base, elaborately carved in high relief acanthus leaves. Approx 190 cm H. Originally these figures would have been painted over gesso. It is very rare to find figures of this type nude. (2)
